Floyd Mayweather's match cancelled

Floyd Mayweather's fight as well as the whole event were canceled due to the sudden death of the President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed, and it is assumed that the event will take place after 40 days of mourning for the death of the President.

For Floyd Mayweather, who is currently 45 years old, this was supposed to be the first fight after last year's exhibition with YouTube star Logan Paul. His opponent was supposed to be Dan Moore, and the fight was of an exhibition character.

Dan Moore was a serious boxer with a perfect score of 18 undefeated wins and retired in 2016. The fight was to take place at the “The Global Titan Fight Series” event at the heliport. It is known that Floyd Mayweather's exhibition fight was about to be attended by only 20 people who bought tickets worth 150 thousand euros.

The famous boxer claims that he was paid a million dollars just to appear at the press conference, and the total earnings from the whole event should have brought him about 100 million dollars.

Anderson Silva left without a match as well

Former UFC champion and one of the best MMA fighters of all time Anderson Silva, who was also left without his boxing match and potentially big earnings, was also to fight at the event.

Anderson Silva has had four boxing matches so far, three of which he won, and was defeated once. He had his first boxing match back in 1998, and seven years later he had his second match. After that, Silva excelled in his MMA career, winning the UFC title in 2006 against Rich Franklin and defending it as many as 10 times.

For the first time since the end of his MMA career, his opponent was former world boxing champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., who was completely overtaken by Silva, and in the next match he knocked out former UFC champion Tito Ortiz in the first round.
