Floyd Mayweather doesn’t seem to be able to live without fights. Training, the ring is his life, and he will continue as before. Floyd will return to the ring in September and will be part of RIZIN. Japanese MMA fighter Mikuru Asakura will be his opponent.
Mayweather commented on the opponent and believes that no one is close to him, and that his level is higher than others. “I know that he believes in his skill, but no fighter that he’s ever been in the ring with is Floyd Mayweather,” Mayweather said, as quoted by mmajunkie.
“These other guys are just fighters, but I’m Floyd Mayweather. I’m on a different level. I’m special. Not just special, very special. This guy is going to come out and give his best, like every and any guy.
But I’ve seen every style, so my job is just to go out there be me, have fun and do what I do best”.
Japan Experience: My legacy is already engraved in stone
He is happy for the experience he will have in Japan and obviously likes to travel the world and entertain people.
For him, this will not be any pressure, and he seems ready as never before. Floyd is already showing extreme self-confidence, which could be a mistake, but also an advantage for him “I had so many great days competing at the highest level, but this is a great feeling now to be able to travel the world and do these exhibition bouts and have fun,” Mayweather said.
“My legacy is already engraved in stone. It’s great to be able to entertain people around the world and from all walks of life. Come September in Japan, we’re going to give the people what they want to see. They want to see me still competing and be entertained by Floyd Mayweather”.
