Famous American boxer Floyd Mayweather, who will soon turn 46, defeated YouTuber Deji Olatunji by stoppage in the sixth round. The fight took place in Dubai, and it was an exhibition match, the fifth in Maweather's career after he finished his professional part with a record of almost 50-0.
During the fight, Mayweather really understood that it was an exhibition, and he spent the majority of the time entertaining the audience by dancing around the ring and challenging his opponent, who is watched by 10.7 million people on a regular basis.
During one of the breaks between the first and second rounds, he decided to take it a step further, and during the break between the first and second rounds, he took on the role of a girl carrying a board with the number of the round, and carried it around the ring in order to entertain the people watching him.
Mayweather, however, grew tired of the "circus" that was going on around the ring, and decided to end the fight at the 6th round.
Mayweather won the fight by technical knockout after a series of punches from the American made the referee decide to stop the fight.
Mayweather has remained undefeated in exhibition fights since he won the first fight. Before the fight, 25-year-old Deji, who had 1 win and 3 losses in amateur and professional boxing, said before the match that his goal was to deliver one real blow to the great champion.
In the end, the younger brother of YouTuber KSI succeeded because Mayweather finished the fight with a bruise under his left eye, which he earned after a punch in the fourth round. Interestingly, Deji came out of the fight "unscathed".
“I’m glad that Deji landed a good shot. This is part of fighting, this is part of entertaining,” Mayweather said after the bout.
Deji said after the fight that he expects a new fight against a celebrity.
I want to thank everyone who came out, my friends and family, my team, everybody”. “I’ wouldn’t mind fighting Justin Bieber, Liam Payne, anyone who wants it really, I’m on all the smoke!”
