Tyson Fury: I doubt Usyk is big and strong enough to take the punches

The highly anticipated boxing match between Tyson Fury and Oleksander Usyk, which has been the talk of the town for quite some time, is set to take place in 2023. It's a huge match that has everyone on the edge of their seats, as the heavyweight titles will be at stake and the winner will be crowned the undisputed champion.

This match has been a long time coming, as these two fighters have been wanting to face off against each other for over 20 years. There has been a lot of speculation about the location and date of the match, with Fury's management mentioning countries in the Middle East and the third month being mentioned as a potential time frame.

However, nothing has been confirmed at this point, and we're hoping to receive more specific information after the holiday season. Despite the anticipation and excitement surrounding this match, both fighters are aware that it won't be an easy fight.

Fury has previously mentioned that he thinks Usyk is too small and there is nothing to ask for in the ring, but even he has admitted that it won't be a walk in the park. “I doubt Usyk is big and strong enough to take the punches.

It’s a challenge, but he’ll run like a little bitch all night. I’ll hunt him down, and when I got to the target, he’ll be crushed,” Fury was quoted as saying by Telegraph.

Earlier in December Fury said:

"I’m going to try my heart out to do this Usyk fight for the undisputed championship.

It’s a fight that he wants so he says. And I want, we all put it all on the line again and we’ll see who wins," Fury told The Telegraph. "I don’t think he’s big enough and strong enough to stand up to the punches, and he’s a natural lighter man.

When we were both younger, as amateurs, Usyk was a middleweight at the same time I was super heavyweight and weighed 110 kilos. It’s a challenge, but he’ll be running away like a little bitch all night. And I will hunt him down and when I get hold of him he’ll be crushed." Considering that these are two of the best boxers today and considering how much would be at stake in this match, it is not surprising that there is so much "hype" around him. We can only wait and watch when and where this spectacle will take place.
