After Luis Alcaraz Pineda, KSI will be fighting a professional boxer for the second time, and it is none other than the much expected opponent Joe Fournier. The event is fixed for May 13th in London OVO Arena Wembley. Of all the opponents KSI has faced, this is undeniably his toughest opponent, but fans were eagerly waiting for KSI to face Tyron Woodley.
The undercard has not been announced yet, and it can be expected to be publicly announced within the next few days. Ksi previously hinted this fight “May 13th, I’ll do what Jake Paul couldn’t do”. Said KSI on Twitter.
And it became obvious that the opponent is joe Fournier because Jake Paul uploaded the boxing statistics of Joe Fournier and said: ”Good luck with your next one. ” Paul was teasing KSI by showing the level of opponents Fournier has fought.
KSI on Joe Fournier
“I can’t wait to show the world what Jake Paul couldn’t, knock out a pro boxer,” said KSI as quoted by badlefthook.com. Fans would argue if Joe Fournier is a better boxer than Tommy fury, but KSI seems to believe that joe is better and will be looking forward to proving to the world that he can win against a professional boxer, something which Jake paul failed to do.
“Each fight, people are seeing a better KSI and I’m honestly scared for Fournier because once I land my right or left hand on his chin, it’s night night. As soon as people enter the ring with me, they realise they are in hell.
And they either leave the ring bruised, battered or sleeping. In the ring, I am an evil man”. KSI has a professional boxing record of 4-0, and his opponent Joe Fournier stands 9-0 (All by knockout). However, his last fight against David Hayes was an exhibition bout that didn’t go in Joe Fournier’s favour. It will be very interesting to see if KSI can showcase a dominating performance against his opponent.
