During the past few days, Jermaine Franklin has shown a great deal of confidence in himself and believes that he will have an easy time against Anthony Joshua in the upcoming fight. The goal of Franklin in the match is to end it with a knockout victory.

There was, however, a reaction from Anthony Joshua not long after such statements were made. The Briton did not want to use 'dirty' words in his speech, but he believes his opponent should show respect.
‘This is the worst time,’ -Joshua said after the rumors that this is the ideal time for Franklin to achieve victory over him.

'The more he talks, the bigger grave he digs for himself. But it is what it is. I could say a lot of things about him [Franklin] but I respect my opponent. It’s not for me to talk, it’s for you [Franklin] to do all the talking.

For me, it’s do to my job on Saturday. And honestly, that is all I am focused on, from round one to round 12. I’m prepared for a 12-rounder, but I do believe in my ability and my counter punching to definitely put a dent in Jermaine.’- he continued, as quoted by metro.co.uk

Anthony Joshua talks about Usyk vs Fury collapse

Anthony is happy he will have the opportunity to be in the ring again.

The great heavyweight also reflected on the collapse of the match between Usyk and Fury. 'I think we’ll see blood. And I just really look forward to getting in there. I’m so happy I am fighting again, because looking at the champions, it is just a shambles.

When you are trying to compete, there’s mandatories, negotiations, honestly, I just can’t believe no fights have been made at championship level. But I’m happy to get back to work.’ Derrick James is his new coach.

He only had words of praise and respect for him. ‘Whatever happens in my career I am going to put down to me. But I feel like Derrick James as an individual is one of the best coaches I have seen and spoken to, I really respect him,’ -Joshua concluded.
