Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia is right around the corner, less than a few weeks away, and the whole world is eagerly waiting for this clash. As far as the match is concerned, coach bullet had a lot to say about the rehydration clause as the fight nearly approaches.
He thinks Garcia made a poor decision to accept the 10 lb rehydration clause and believes it was smart play from Gervonta Davis's management to set these conditions for his upcoming match. Coach Bullet does not seem to be happy with the conditions set by Gervonta's management team.
It will be very interesting to see the two fighters face off next in the weigh-ins.
Coach bullet on Ryan Garcia
Recently on Fight Hub Tv, Coach Bullet was interviewed, where he shared his opinion about the rehydration clause for the upcoming match.
"I don't care about the money. I don't care about the belt," said coach bullet, as quoted by boxing247.com. "He should have never done that. You got to be smarter than that, Ryan. Then they're fighting at 136. The belt is at 135.
This is a pound-for-pound sport". Coach Bullet expresses his frustration "He shouldn't be fighting at 136 in the first place. If you can't make 135, go to 140. You're a big guy; go to 140. Tank can make 135. Tank can make 130 again".
He further said, "I just think that was a smart, tactical thing that they [Team Gervonta] did on their part, but a dumb decision on Ryan's part. That's the little tricks in the game. I don't think it should be legal". This is a massive fight, and a competitive advantage would play a huge role in deciding the winner of the event.
Perhaps the rehydration clause could have an advantageous impact on Gervonta Davis. Regardless of the speculations, the outcome of the event will break down to 'skill', and the fighters 'will' to emerge victoriously.
