The much-awaited heavyweight clash between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk, to everyone's disappointment, got canceled and upset fans worldwide. It was expected to take place in April, but due to negotiation conflicts between the two, the event got dismissed.

It got cancelled for now, but the chances are high for it to happen in the distant future. It could happen before the end of this year, but both fighters will have to understand and respect each other's terms thoroughly before negotiating.

There have been talks about massive boxing events scheduled to happen this summer in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; it will be very interesting to see if Usyk and Fury can be featured in one.

Usyk's promoter Krassyuk speaks about Tyson fury

Recently with BT Sports, Usyk's promoter Krassyuk spoke about Tyson Fury as a boxer in great detail and believes that it would be Fury's biggest mistake to dismiss a match with Oleksandr Usyk.

"I would love to see [it], as a boxing fan," Krassyuk as quoted by boxingscene.com. "As Usyk's promoter, I would love to make it happen. As just a normal Ukrainian, I would love my competitor to become the undisputed champion in a second weight division.

So, from our side, it's only plus, plus, plus. We know that Tyson Fury is a complex personality. And it's probably not a surprise for anyone [that the fight hasn't happened], and we can see it [through] his behavior in the last probably seven or 10 years.

He further said. "Yes, he is the [WBC] champion. Yes, he has the right to do things that he wants to do. But at the end of the day, he is a professional boxer. And his main assignment is to perform for the boxing fans. So, that is why I think if this fight does not take place, that would be one of the biggest mistakes that Tyson Fury could ever make in [his] professional boxing career". (Image source: Sky Sports)
