The ongoing negotiations are finally reaching to the conclusion stage, where promoters will soon announce the fight officially. The heavyweight clash between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois is being aimed to happen on the 12th of August, and as for now, both parties have agreed on payment splits.

Daniel Dubois has gotten a fantastic opportunity; he will be fighting for the WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight belts; even though he is the underdog for this event, it will be interesting to see if he can shock the boxing world by beating Oleksandr Usyk.

Uysk's manager gives an update

The mega event is expected to take place in Poland, and a date has also been revealed by Usyk's manager. More details on the negotiations shall be disclosed publicly in the upcoming days. "We won the bid now working to stage the fight in Wroclaw Poland on August 12th," Krassyuk announced on his Instagram story.

Daniel Dubois has a high knockout rate; from the 19 opponents that he fought, he has knocked out 18. His only loss came against Joy Joyce. Dubois is currently on a 4 match winning streak, and it will be very interesting to see if he can extend it and snatch everything away from Oleksandr Usyk.

The heavyweight champion has never tasted defeat; Oleksandr Uysk has a professional record of 20-0 (13 knockouts) and was supposed to face The Gypsy King Tyson Fury but due to inconsistent negotiations, the thrilling event could not reach the final stage, and it got called off.

It would be very unfair to say that the match is already one-sided, as some fans claim for it to be. Daniel Dubois is not an easy challenge; Uysk should be aware of this and not underestimate his opponent. Both fighters have tremendous striking abilities; Uysk will be carrying the pressure of defending his hard-earned belts, and his emotions should not get the better of him.
