Tyson Fury is the 'king' of boxing and has no intention of trying other sports, in this case, the UFC. Israel Adesanya challenged Tyson Fury to meet in the cage, but the Briton is not thinking about that option. In one of the video clips, Fury clearly emphasized that he does not want to fight in a cage.
"I ain't getting in no cage," he said, as quoted by MIRROR. "Not to scrap with you - I'm a straight up boxer, Queensbury rules brother." Fury sent a message to not only Adesanya but Ngannou as well. He set one condition for them if they want to fight with him.
The match must be held according to boxing rules, considering that Fury does not see himself in the cage. "If you guys want to fight me it’s got to be under boxing rules. I don’t roll round the floor, I stand up and punch”.
- he continued.
Dana White on Jon Jones vs Tyson Fury
UFC President Dana White emphasized that he is ready to arrange a fight between Jones and Fury in the UFC. He is aware of how big a fight it would be and what profit he would have from it.
“Jon Jones is the baddest dude on the planet. There's no debate, there's no denying it. I don't care what anybody says, they can try to spin it, a lot of this stuff is clickbait and you know how I am. If Tyson Fury really wants to fight Jon Jones in the UFC I will make it happen, here's my thing, right now; 'Tyson if you’re serious let me know', Tyson and I have a good relationship.
I like Tyson Fury and if he's serious let's find out. Listen, we can talk all we want, Tyson can talk, Jon can talk, I can talk, we can all talk let’s do it."
