KSI has made it pretty clear that he wants to fight Tommy Fury next, and it seems to be happening in the near future as Tommy Fury has verbally agreed to fight KSI. It is Tommy Fury's second opportunity to secure a massive payday; he last fought against Jake Paul and left a permanent dent in what looked like a prestigious undefeated career.
KSI recently fought against Joe Fournier, a professional boxer, who remains to be undefeated since his loss was converted into a no-contest decision. The respected authorities overturned the decision because of KSI's illegal elbow shot.
Tommy Fury's thoughts on fighting KSI
Tommy Fury addressed the following on his YouTube Channel; he believes Jake Paul has a better fighting style than KSI and looks forward to finishing the whole YouTube/influencer boxing scene.
Tommy Fury insists on a no-elbow clause for his potential match against KSI. "Actually no, not the same thing," Fury said, as quoted by boxingscence.com. "He's going to be on the floor because Jake Paul is a little bit more reserved, but this KSI is just gung-ho, wild with no head movement.
You can't do against a top fighter and I'll put it in the contract, no elbows". He further said: "It's going to be nice just shutting up these people who have been rambling on for years about being fighters. Being about it, but they've never fought one person that can actually fight.
I think it [influencer boxing] will never die because they will just fight different people and other YouTubers. Them fighting professional boxers, that will end". Instead of avenging his bitter loss against Tommy Fury, Jake Paul has decided to fight one more MMA fighter.
Maybe Paul wants to regain some momentum before he can get his hands laid on Tommy Fury for a rematch. "The way I see it is like a pie. One side of it being Jake Paul and the other side of it being KSI. I have already ate one side of the pie and sh*t it out, that's why he [Paul] is now fighting a 40-year-old man.
Now all I have to do is eat the other pie and guess what? The pie is no longer there, it's over. That's what I plan on doing this year, end it all".
