The heavyweight division is filled with highly skilful individuals like Zhilei Zhang, who scored a fascinating knockout victory against Joe Joyce and gained a lot more public attention. After securing a brutal knockout, Zhilei Zhang ambitiously called out Tyson Fury and was also open to fighting other big names from the division.

Zhilei Zhang has a professional boxing record of 25-1-1 (20 knockouts); he faced his first-ever loss just before the match against Joe Joyce. It came against the undefeated Croatian fighter Filip Hrgovic. Boxing fans can expect his return somewhere before the end of this year; if not, we could see him fight in 2024.

On hearing the recent heavyweight fight announcement: Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois, Zhilei Zhang shared his prediction on the outcome of the event.

Zhilei Zhang’s prediction on Usyk vs Dubois

Recently in an interview with Boxing News, the heavyweight fighter and the face of Chinese boxing Zhilei Zhang predicted the outcome of the upcoming match between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois in a short and simple manner.

Here’s exactly what he said: “I think Usyk is going to have a pretty easy night. I think Dubois is going to have difficulty landing even one big punch”. Daniel Dubois is the heavy underdog; however, it’s not worth underestimating him as he has been a threat to his opponents on several occasions, and even the slightest mistake from Uysk’s end could flip things around within the blink of an eye.

Oleksandr Usyk was supposed to fight Tyson Fury first, but due to some serious negotiation clashes, the much awaited possibility remains to be just that, a possibility. Uysk’s match against Dubois is still an entertaining one and undeniably a treat for all boxing enthusiasts.

It’s arguably one of Daniel Dubois’s toughest tests of his career, and if he ends up winning, he will level up in ways he cannot imagine; in about 2-3 months from now, all fans will get to see how well prepared Daniel Dubois is.
