The face of heavyweight boxing, Tyson Fury, has had a significant impact on the world of boxing and his journey has been nothing less than inspiring. Fury firm-mindedly believes that he and Anthony Joshua have played a huge role in inspiring other boxers in the division to do better and maximise their potential.
Fury believes he has shown the world that there is more to achieve for everyone. Anthony Joshua is on Tyson Fury's hit list; at some point, we will definitely see these great heavyweights clash against each other. After Joshua's recent win against Robert Helenius, he could most likely fight against Deontay Wilder next.
Tyson Fury will be facing the MMA star Francis Ngannou on the 28th of October; for some reason, many boxing experts are against this match up as they believe it's pointless and one-sided in favor of Fury.
Tyson Fury on inspiring other boxers
In a recent interview with Sky Sports, Tyson Fury shared his thoughts on him and Anthony Joshua being a source of inspiration to other heavyweight boxers in the division.
"I think we've given them a lot to aim for, with me and AJ," Fury said, as quoted by skysports.com. "We've given them a lot of hope that it can be done. Because before I became world champion, Britain had only had maybe six or five world [heavyweight] champions throughout the history of boxing.
"All of a sudden we had a few more of late, a lot of highly ranked world heavyweights. Fury further said: I think we've inspired a lot of people and hopefully they can go on and continue to do well in the division". "I think we've got a lot of talent.
Young David Adeleye, Solomon Dacres, Johnny Fisher, Frazer Clarke, Nathan Gorman, Daniel Dubois, there's a lot of talent coming through in this country especially".
