Tyson Fury is more than ready to step into one of the biggest fights of his career this Saturday night against Oleksandr Usyk. Both fighters are hungry for a victory as their undefeated records are on the line. Apart from that, Uysk’s BA, IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight titles are also on the line.

This fight goes beyond professional records and belts. Tyson Fury thinks claiming a win against Usyk will earn him the No. 1 status of all time.

In a recent interview with DAZN, Tyson Fury explained why he thinks a win against Oleksandr Usyk will put him on top of every list.

“I think he’s the best opponent I’ve ever faced, because I’ve fought world heavyweight champions before, I’ve fought undefeated people before, I’ve fought Olympic gold medals before, but I’ve never fought a two-weight world champion before,” Fury said as quoted by mmajunkie.usatoday.com.

“So, I think that puts him at the top of it all. I think this win puts me at No. 1, barring none, beating Usyk now puts me No. 1 status of all time”.
