UK Finance Ministry to award £600 million to Housing Fund

On Saturday, the 17th of August 2019, Finance Minister of Britain, Sajid Javid said in a statement that the UK finance ministry would soon unveil a funding of £600 million in order to support constructions of as many as 50,000 homes, while the latest expenses would cover necessary infrastructure aimed at rekindling United Kingdom’s dwindling house building expenses amid a mass-scale chaos in its economy ahead of a likely no-deal or a disorderly Brexit.

Aside from that, the British Finance Minister had also been quoted saying on Saturday (August 17th) that a majority of latest housing fund would be delivered to the Housing Infrastructure Fund, a government entity which assists in constructing roads, rail links alongside schools in order to turn an uninhabitable area into more accommodable for housing.

Besides, Javid, the British Finance Minister added on Saturday (August 17th) that the funding would initiate five new housing projects in London alongside in the counties of Bedfordshire and Esse-x. Adding that the funding would make those areas more viable to housing, Javid said in a statement on Saturday (August 17th), “We need the roads, rail links, and schools to support the families living in those homes, which is why I set up a fund to put in place the infrastructure to unlock new homes in these areas. ”
