Cupertino’s Apple Inc to hold special event on September 14, new iPhones expected

Apple Inc., the Cupertino, California-headquartered iPhone manufacturer and the United States’ largest corporate taxpayer, said in a statement on Tuesday that it would contrive a special event on the 14th of September what most industry analysts believe could set out a new line of its flagship iPhones.

In the latest flashpoint of unveiling new iPhone models, analysts were not expecting a dramatic change in Apple’s last year’s redesigned iPhone with 5G connectivity, while latest set of remarks from Apple executives had led to many analysts’ beliefs that there could be small technical updates in the phone’s processor and camera.

Nonetheless, smartphone industry had been whispering over recent past that iPhone 13 could enable Apple users to make phone calls without even network connectivity, leading to assumption that new iPhones might just act as a satellite phone when out of network, while iPhone 13 would more likely to exploit rented satellite server spaces to allow its users to make phone calls without network connectivity, suggested analysts.

Since 2013, Apple Inc had been releasing new iPhone models in September like a clockwork.

Concomitantly, expressing prospects of another year of record sales given an upscaled sales volume of Apple Inc’s lower-priced iPhone SE, a JPMorgan analyst Samik Chatterjee said, “Upgrades rates peaked in 2021 on 5G, we expect upgrade rates to moderate but still drive high volumes in 2022”.

Nevertheless, a Bloomberg news report had unveiled earlier this week that a new line of Apple smartphones could stretch their portrait mode features to video, while new iPhones might have a higher-quality video recording format, too.
