French hotel chain Accor teams up with Visa under loyalty program

On Tuesday, the 18th of February 2020, Accor SA, the Issy-les-Moulineaux-based French multinational operator of franchises hotel chains, resorts alongside vacation properties, had issues a statement saying that the Europe’s largest hotel chain had partnered up with the San Francisco, CA-based American multinational credit and pre-paid card issuer, Visa Inc.

in order to proffer an online payment solution to the members of its lifestyle loyalty program, named as All-Accor Live Limitless. More importantly, the latest deal could offload some pressures of the US-based multinational credit card issuer, Visa Inc., as the credit and debit card issuer had been investing a hefty sum to step up its rewards programs in the Unites States, while a 64 million loyal members base of All-Accor Live Limitless program would expand Visa Inc.’s footprint on more than 4,800 hotels and 100 countries, bolstering the American credit card-issuer’s stance further in to the European payment processing industry.

On top of that, the new ALL Visa Inc. cards for All-Accor Live Limitless members, would design its rewards’ programs on the basis of customers’ preferences alongside the Accord customers’ abilities to earn loyalty points, which would be obtained by either residing at an Accor property or making purchases through the ALL Visa Inc. cards.
