46 migrants found dead in San Antonio, Texas!

The news coming from San Antonio shocked the public. Namely, at least 46 people were found dead in ho* conditions in a semitruck. The victims were migrants. Some died of heart attacks, while some died of dehydration. According to information from CNN, 16 people were taken to the hospital.

The question is how long they were trapped in the truck, but one worker nearby heard the person crying and begging for help, and was left shocked when he realized what it was all about. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has expressed sadness and disbelief after all, and hopes the people in the hospital will survive.

"I am heartbroken by the tragic loss of life today and am praying for those still fighting for their lives," Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said on social media, as quoted by CNN. "Far too many lives have been lost as individuals -- including families, women, and children -- take this dangerous journey."

Firefighters and Mayor Ron Nirenberg

Firefighters also could not believe what they saw. Lots of dead bodies and exhausted people. The fire chief says no one could have expected this. "We're not supposed to open up a truck and see stacks of bodies in there.

None of us come to work imagining that," the fire chief said. Mayor Ron Nirenberg is another who could not believe what is happening. According to what he said, 46 people lost their lives, while doctors are fighting for the lives of 16 people.

"It's tragic," Mayor Ron Nirenberg said Monday. "There are, that we know of, 46 individuals who are no longer with us, who had families, who were likely trying to find a better life. And we have 16 folks who are fighting for their lives in the hospital." A difficult life story. We hope that those who are in the hospital will win the battle for life.
