Band of robbers arrested: "They planned a robbery to Rafael Nadal"

Incredible discovery made in the last hours by the Spanish police. According to reports from the newspaper Diario de Ibiza, a recently arrested criminal gang had targeted the villa of Rafael Nadal, home where the twenty-two-time winner of Grand Slam titles lives with his wife Maria Francisca Perello.

Law enforcement officers found suspicious plans and papers from the robbers. Not only was Nadal among the VIPs targeted: Argentine soccer champion, PSG star Lionel Messi, was also on the criminal list. A few weeks ago these men had robbed the Italian soccer midfielder Marco Verratti, taking 2.5 million pounds from his holiday home.

The police have linked this gang of robbers to as many as 15 other thefts, as The Mirror also reports. The police then released the following clear statement: "The police officers dismantled a criminal organization specializing in the robberies of luxury villas.

The robbers were discovered after a robbery against a well-knownsoccer player Marco Verratti. Subsequently, the police carried out several searches both in Malaga and Ibiza and in the provinces of Alicante, Murcia and Malaga in general."

The news regarding Rafa Nadal and Lionel Messi is then subsequent to this statement.

Just recently the managing director of the real estate company Balearic Properties, Iris Gruenewald, spoke about what Rafael Nadal's property is like.

Here are his words: "It is a house of just over 1000 square meters that he bought in 2013 for four million euros in Porto Cristo, near Manacor. There are 7 thousand square meters of land, all located near the seafront."

Rafael Nadal spent about seven years completely reforming the property and demolished some areas of the property and completely redesigned them, according to real estate firm Balearic Properties. Nadal had to skip the London semifinal at Wimbledon 2022 against Nick Kyrgios for an abdominal injury. The Spanish champion should come back for the North American season on hard-courts-
