Shock in WWE: Sonya Deville arrested for illegal possession of a gun

The WWE Superstar Sonya Deville reportedly started carrying around a gun after a fan tried to break into her home to harm her in August 2020, though luckily he was later arrested and prosecuted, with Sonya walking out unaffected by the whole situation.

Also according to the details that were provided on the arrest, the charge against her is of possession of a firearm, with Sonya who would have permission to take it with her in the state of Florida, but not in New Jersey.

Sonya would have been arrested on February 19 in New Jersey for possession of a firearm, in particular a gun was found in her car while she was parking and she was out partying with her Fiancée who she recently asked to be her wife.

During an interview with Forbes released in June 2022, the former WWE official was asked how she is doing now after so long since her stalker attacked and she explained that she still doesn't quite understand how she feels about it, although the case has now been dismissed.

"I don't think I've figured it out yet. I feel like I'm taking it a little bit from day to day and trying to figure out where the edge is," Sonya Deville admitted. "I mean, at the end of the day, I chose to be in the spotlight and I chose to share my story and my journey with fans because I think it might help.

I remember when I was 19, 20, I didn't feel I'm comfortable with my se*uality, and, shall we say, I wanted that representation in the public eye. I'm proud of that." Coming back at the arrest, the case is expected to be dismissed very soon and she is due in court this month for a hearing.

Sources in WWE have said that the company has nothing against the wrestler as she understood the reason for possession of the weapon after what happened to her.
