Vladimir Putin currently wields unassailable power alongside his closest associates, enjoying immense support in Russia with seemingly no significant challengers on the horizon. The next presidential elections in Russia are scheduled for March next year, and it's already evident that Putin will garner overwhelming support.

One noteworthy voice calling for a unique approach to the upcoming elections is Ramzan Kadyrov, who advocated for postponing or limiting the candidacy to just Vladimir Putin during a speech at a rally in Grozny, celebrating Putin's birthday.

Kadyrov firmly believes that Putin is the most suitable leader for the role and the only one capable of safeguarding Russia's interests. "I propose that, given the ongoing 'special military operation,' we collectively decide to have only one candidate in the elections – Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin.

Alternatively, we could temporarily suspend the elections because, at present, there is no one else who can effectively defend our nation," Kadyrov said.

Vladimir Putin, however, refrained from confirming his candidacy, stating that he would not make an announcement until the parliament calls for elections in December.

This uncertainty has left some in doubt regarding Putin's future and the trajectory of Russia under his leadership. The ongoing conflict in Ukraine has not unfolded as expected, exacerbating the challenges facing the nation, including sanctions, mounting debts, and strained international relations.

Russia indeed faces an intricate and challenging path ahead. The conflict in Ukraine presents a formidable struggle, particularly given the substantial support that Ukraine has garnered from the international community. Meanwhile, Vladimir Putin appears determined not to concede and end up on the losing side of this protracted conflict.

Inevitably, a solution must be sought to bring about peace, as the ultimate priority. Achieving a peaceful resolution would be in the best interests of all parties involved and the global community. The complexities of the situation necessitate diplomatic efforts and negotiations to find a way forward, with the hope of ending the hostilities and restoring stability to the region.
