During the meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contract Group, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin emphasized that Hamas is the biggest problem in the current conflict between Israel and Palestine. For years, the US has provided enormous support to Israel and its people, and it is obvious that this practice will continue for years to come.

Austin wants the US to continue providing aid to Israel in difficult times for them.
"The US stands firm with Israel and will continue to ensure that Israel has what it needs to keep itself and its citizens safe," Austin said, as quoted by aa.com.tr The Israeli-Palestinian conflict has been going on since 1948.

During all these years, conflicts have existed and disappeared, but they have never completely disappeared. Tensions in the region are enduring, and a comprehensive solution has proven elusive. Throughout history, the conflict has taken various forms, with Israel receiving significant global support, while Palestine has relied on aid from neighboring nations, although even that support has disappeared with time.

"And the Department of Defense stands fully ready to deploy additional assets, if necessary," added Austin.

Lloyd: The United States will remain able to project power

Although there are certain rumors that Palestine could receive help from other countries, Lloyd emphasized that no matter what, the US will always be ready to help Israel.

"Make no mistake, the United States will remain able to project power and to direct resources to tackle crises in multiple theaters," Austin said. Many people wonder if this conflict will calm down, or if it will reach even greater proportions.

Providing a definitive answer to such a question is challenging, but Israel's response will be closely observed. The severity of the situation will ultimately determine the course it takes. "Over the coming days, the US Department of Defense will work to ensure that Israel has what it needs to defend itself and protect civilians from indiscriminate violence and terrorism," Austin said.
