From the very beginning of the conflict in the Middle East, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan firmly stood by Palestine and condemned Israel's attacks on Palestine. His statements day after day cause fear among many. Erdogan again made similar statements, this time regarding Hamas fighters who are in Turkey.

He warned the Israelis that they will pay the price if they decide to eliminate Hamas members on Turkish soil. “They do not know the Turks. They don’t know us… If they commit such a mistake, they should know that they will pay a very heavy price for it,” he said, as quoted by timesofisrael.com!

Recep Tayyip Erdogan's statement

Erdogan warned that the Israelis could have serious consequences if they decide to make similar moves. He emphasized that Turkey is a powerful country that makes progress year after year in all fields.

“If they dare to take such a step against Turkey and the Turks, they will be condemned to pay the price, never to be able to stand up again. Those who attempt such a thing should remember that the consequences can be extremely serious.

There is no one in the world who does not know the progress Turkey has made in both the field of intelligence and security”. The Turkish leader also mentioned the current situation in the Gaza Strip. "Gaza belongs to the Palestinians.

We do not recognize any decision-maker that ignores their decisions”. The Turkish president did not forget to mention the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, whose moves he condemns and considers him a war criminal.

“We brought the war crimes committed in Gaza to the court’s agenda and we will be following up on this,” he said. “Netanyahu will not be able to evade paying the penalty for his actions. Sooner or later, he will be tried and will pay the price for the war crimes he committed”.
