Russian President Vladimir Putin highlighted the differences between the situations in Ukraine and the Gaza Strip during a press conference. When discussing the Middle East situation, Vladimir Putin's stance was unexpectedly clear during the press conference.

He emphasized that while discussions centered on the Ukrainian crisis, the events in Gaza presented a stark contrast. Putin referred to the Gaza situation as a "catastrophe," emphasizing the concerns expressed by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who described it as a tragic situation leading to immense loss, particularly among children. People around the world are shocked by the treatment of Europe and the world towards Palestine and their people. Many believe that it is not acceptable in the 21st century to see things like this in the Middle East, where the number of victims is increasing hour by hour, day by day

Putin acknowledged the efforts of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in addressing the Gaza crisis, recognizing Erdogan's role as one of the international leaders committed to finding a solution to the tragedy and striving to establish conditions for long-term peace. Vladimir Putin obviously has a great relationship with the Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The two of them had a great cooperation before, and this can best be felt in the words of the Russian leader.

Gaza Strip attacks

The Gaza Strip has faced airstrikes and ground attacks from Israel following a cross-border incident initiated by the Palestinian group Hamas on October 7. The conflict has resulted in significant casualties, with many Palestinian lives lost and numerous injuries reported. Although it was expected that this conflict could see an end, things became even more tragic. The Palestinians are calling for help, but there is still no concrete reaction.

The gravity of the situation is evident in the high number of casualties reported by Gaza health authorities, emphasizing the need for attention and resolution to prevent further loss of life and suffering. The Palestinians are also looking for financial and medical help, given that they are in the most difficult situation in the history of this country.
