In last night's address, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy sent clear messages to the people of Ukraine and to the whole world. In moments when his country is experiencing the most difficult moments in history, Zelenskyy emphasizes that it is crucial to protect the country and endure this year. The enemy certainly does not plan to give up a single moment. The Ukrainian leader wants his country to resist and achieve a final victory.  Moreover, Zelenskyy did not forget about the help that arrived month after month from the US and the world. Without the help of others, Ukrainians would have a much more difficult task to defend themselves from the enemy.

"Our state's top priority remains unchanged – to ensure everything necessary for Ukraine's defence and our active operations. Ammunition, drones, equipment, personnel. Enduring this year means enduring this entire war. It's a crucial and decisive time. Grateful to everyone who realises this, who helps the state become stronger and who gives our soldiers the ability to defeat the enemy."- Zelenskyy said, as quoted by PRAVDA

Zelenskyy on Germany's recent aid

Zelenskyy mentioned Germany's recent aid to Ukraine's defense, citing support such as air defense missiles and artillery as essential and well-timed. He thanked Germany for this assistance and urged other partners, especially the United States, to follow suit.

Zelenskyy stressed the importance of these actions in combating Russian aggression during winter, aiming to prevent a recurrence of the challenges faced the previous year.

The Ukrainian leader hopes that the future for his country will be much more positive. Ukrainians are aware that it is necessary to stay focused, to be ready to defend the homeland, and to persevere until the very end. It is clear that peace will not come anytime soon, which is certainly a disappointing fact. Ukrainians are in fear, and are calling for help.  Let's hope that the future holds good things for them.
