The war between Ukraine and Russia does not stop and it seems that it will not stop even in the coming period. Moves by both sides deepen the conflict and develop a sense of pessimism among the population of both countries, but also among citizens around the world. This kind of conflict does not benefit anyone, especially when we consider the number of victims.

The latest in a series of accusations by the Ukrainian president directed at the Russia causes even greater pessimism among everyone.

Ukrainian President Zelenskyy accuses Moscow of putting Ukrainian prisoners' lives at risk after a plane crash in western Russia. He calls for an international investigation following Russia's claim that Kiev shot down the plane carrying prisoners and crew members.

Zelenskyy emphasizes the need for clear facts and cancels a planned trip. Ukraine's military intelligence acknowledges shooting down a military plane but lacks reliable information on the occupants. The crash occurred near Belgorod, and details about those on board remain unverified. Zelensky suggests deliberate actions by Russia, expressing concerns for the safety of prisoners amid past agreements.

Such moves by the Russians, if it turns out that they were intentional, really cause shame and create more and more chaos.

Russia confirmed on Wednesday that the IL-76 military transport plane had crashed, but that it was carrying 65 Ukrainian prisoners of war.

"On the plane were 65 captured members of the Ukrainian army who were transported to the Belgorod region for exchange, six crew members and three companions," the Russian Ministry of Defense said.

Vyacheslav Volodin, the most senior member of the lower house of the Russian parliament, said the plane "shot down" by Kiev and blamed Western missiles.

Both sides have their version, and in the next period, it will be determined who is telling the truth. Opinions are divided at the moment, although the majority are on the side of Ukraine and believe that the Ukrainians did not know what it was about.

Each side will try to give its final truth and final version, but there is only one truth. This will inevitably cause an even bigger conflict between both sides. Ukrainians are disappointed by such moves by the Russians and frustrated considering that they believe that Russian lies are endless.

Zelenskyy directs plan to protect Ukrainian identity in Russian regions

Ukrainian President Zelenskyy has instructed the government to create a plan to protect the national identity of Ukrainians in specific regions of Russia.

Zelenskyy has had this plan in circulation for a long time, which he finally decided must be implemented. He is serious in his intentions and believes that this is very important for all Ukrainians. Zelenskyy wants to find out what is happening with Ukrainians in Russia, and what kind of treatment the Russians have towards them.

The plan involves collecting evidence of crimes against Ukrainians due to forced Russification, repression, and deportation. It also aims to counter disinformation, preserve historical memory, and establish a center for related issues.

The Ukrainian president demands that information be provided as soon as possible and the final truth about what is happening be known. Zelenskyy has no insight into the events in Russia, but he is sure that the Ukrainian people are not treated the same, and that they have survived a lot in the last two years.

Zelensky emphasizes the need for Russia to comply with international obligations, ensuring the rights of Ukrainians in these regions, including education in the Ukrainian language.

"The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is to develop, with the involvement of international experts, representatives of the Ukrainian World Congress, scholars, and the public, and submit for consideration by the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine a plan for preserving the national identity of Ukrainians in the Russian Federation, including in lands historically inhabited by them (in Kuban, Starodubshchyna, Northern and Eastern Slobozhanshchyna within the boundaries of the present-day Krasnodar Krai, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, and Rostov oblasts of the Russian Federation)."

From the beginning of the war, the Ukrainian leader emphasized how important every Ukrainian was, and that he wanted to stand up for his citizens, as well as Ukrainians who do not live within the borders of Ukraine. There is a huge fear from the Ukrainian side that Ukrainians living in Russia are suffering from terror. Some more information is not known, but there are assumptions that the Ukrainian people within the borders of Russia have felt great fear and tension since the beginning of the war, which is expected and understandable.

Only the end of the war can bring peace and salvation for everyone. We hope that peace will emerge soon and show that there is indeed hope for the world.
