After the death of Alexei Navalny, a Russian opposition leader, reactions quickly followed from world leaders, as well as ordinary citizens. Many have no doubt: Vladimir Putin killed him! Navalny was known as a person who did not hesitate to speak the truth. Many expected such an outcome, considering how energetic, honest, and brave Navalny was.

Although the Kremlin denied any involvement in Navalny's death, not many believe them. Andriy Yermak, the head of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's office, decided to react via social media after such sad news.

Yermak is also one of those who does not doubt that Putin is the one who decided Navalny should be killed. Andriy emphasized that the Russian leader is not someone with whom negotiations can take place in any way. Vladimir Putin is known as a leader with firm beliefs, clear goals, and is reluctant to compromise. Such an atmosphere does not give much optimism that peace could prevail.

"[P]utin is the ultimate evil who is afraid of any competition. The lives of [R]ussians are nothing to him. Everyone who calls for negotiations must realize that he cannot be trusted. The only language he understands is force," Yermak wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has no doubt that Putin is involved in Navalny's death. Since the beginning of the war, it has been clear what Putin is willing to do to strengthen his position and achieve his goals. Even before the war, many spoke of him as a leader who is not hesitant to do anything to stay in power.

The war in Ukraine has only confirmed what was expected. Zelensky himself has witnessed the kind of leader Putin is. The Ukrainian president believes that Putin will do everything to retain his position.

"Obviously he was killed by Putin, like thousands of others who have been tormented, tortured because of this one person," Zelensky said on Friday, according to a translation. "Putin doesn't care who dies, as long as he retains his position. And that is why he must not keep anything. Putin must lose everything. He must not retain anything and must be held accountable for what he has done," Zelensky said, as quoted by

US President Joe Biden reacts to Alexei Navalny's death

US President Joe Biden has been on the side of Ukraine since the beginning of the war, fully aware of what Putin is willing to do. The historical relationship between the US and Russia is well-known, so the US president's stance did not surprise anyone. However, a large number of countries worldwide support Volodymyr Zelensky and Ukraine.

Joe Biden has expressed his opinion on Navalny's death, stating that he has no doubt Putin is responsible for it. This underscores the notion that Vladimir Putin will do anything, even resorting to such actions, to defeat his opponents.

The world fears the brutality of the Russian president.

The US president has once again emphasized that the US must support Ukraine if the goal is for Ukraine to achieve victory and potentially prevent Putin from achieving his objectives.

This is a critical moment for Ukraine as they lack ammunition and weaponry, and reaching an agreement in Congress is challenging due to Republican opposition. Biden is tired of this war and wants it to end as soon as possible.

"Make no mistake," Biden said in a press conference.

"Putin is responsible for Navalny's death. Putin is responsible. What has happened to Navalny is yet more proof of Putin's brutality. No one should be fooled.

We have to provide the funding so Ukraine can keep defending itself against Putin's vicious onslaughts and war crimes.

History is watching the House of Representatives. The failure to support Ukraine at this critical moment will never be forgotten."

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva also reacted to the rumors of Navalny's death. The Brazilian president has a somewhat different stance, believing that nothing can be guaranteed yet. Lula thinks it's necessary to conduct an investigation and then reach a final judgment. He believes that condemning someone without reason may not be the best option.

"I think it's a matter of good sense... If the death was suspicious, we have to first investigate to find out what the citizen died of. The medical examiners are going to say the guy died of this or that. Then you can judge. Otherwise, if you judge now and say I-don't-know-who ordered the killing and it wasn't them, afterward you have to apologize. Why the rush to accuse?"- Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said.

Looking at everything that has happened, most people believe that an investigation is not needed because there were already indications earlier that Navalny could be killed. Navalny himself had spoken about the possibility before his death.
