The people in Gaza are going through tough times, and they really need help to get through the next few days and weeks, especially because many of them are experiencing hunger in Palestine. Besides that, there are many other things Palestinians need, as they are living in conditions that are not good enough.

The U.S. is building a floating pier to help deliver aid to Gaza, and it will take about two months with the help of around 1,000 soldiers. The pier will be like a temporary platform in the sea, allowing ships to transfer goods to smaller boats for distributing aid.  This news has made many people happy because the Palestinians really need someone to help them.

On the other hand, many are afraid of how long it will take to build everything. A lot can change in two months, and the situation can be much worse than before. Therefore, the imperative of everything should be to solve this problem as soon as possible, and for the Americans to try to speed up the whole process.

Pentagon reacts

The Pentagon, a part of the U.S. government, is overseeing this effort. They mentioned that American soldiers won't be on the ground in Gaza, but they'll be on military ships at sea.

The plan also involves working with other countries, and Cyprus might be where the aid gets loaded onto ships.

This comes after President Biden talked about it in a big speech.

The U.S. is already sending aid by dropping packages from airplanes into Gaza, even though some people worry it might not be the best way to do it. The military person in charge said that the aid packages have been landing safely, despite what some news reports say about people getting hurt.

The Palestinians thank the US and other countries that are trying to help them in various ways, but for them, the most important thing would be for this war to come to an end, and for them to finally feel peace.
