There is complete chaos in the world, especially in the Middle East. The war between Israel and Palestine is still going on, 5 months after the Hamas attack on Israel. Tensions do not subside. Both parties firmly stand behind their ideas and have no intention of giving in even under pressure from foreign leaders. This is especially evident in the example of Israel.

The Israeli leader intends to completely destroy Hamas, and the first step towards that is the invasion of the city of Rafah, which is located on the southern border of the Gaza Strip. The American president, Joe Biden, sent a clear message to the Israeli leaders and pointed out that their invasion would be a 'red line'.

The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu seems to be defying the whole world, and he does not seem to care about the warnings from the US President. Netanyahu believes that the Israelis will achieve a complete victory. He is frustrated by such warnings, especially because Israel was attacked in October last year. Netanyahu does not want to see the same scenario again. This time he wants to stop Hamas completely and to confirm who is in charge.

"We'll go there. We're not going to leave them. You know, I have a red line. You know what the red line is? That October 7 doesn't happen again. Never happens again." - Netanyahu said, as quoted by POLITICO

Even though the whole world believes that Netayahu is not exactly a favorite figure and that no one supports him at the moment, the Israeli Prime Minister emphasized that he has the support of many Arab leaders, who believe that the only way to prevent future conflicts is to destroy Hamas. Netanyahu stressed Hamas is part of the Iranian terror axis.

“They understand that, and even agree with it quietly. They understand Hamas is part of the Iranian terror axis.”- he continued.

Given that the Israelis are very close to achieving their goal, Netanyahu believes that it would be disastrous to give up when you are close to victory. The Israeli Prime Minister acknowledged they have destroyed most of Hamas and that what remains remains to be destroyed. He is convinced that the Israeli army will succeed in achieving its goal in the next few months. His statements never lacked optimism.

“We've destroyed three-quarters of Hamas' fighting terrorism battalions. And we're close to finishing the last part in warfare. Fighting would not take more than two months. Maybe six weeks, maybe four," he continued.

Although it was said in the media that there will be a cease-fire in the month of Ramadan, the holy month for Muslims, Netanyahu pointed out that this will not be the case. The Israeli Prime Minister is frustrated that the negotiations have not made any progress. Netanyahu was ready to compromise, but on the condition that Hamas also compromise and release the group of hostages.

"While I would like to see another hostage release, I don't see any breakthrough in the negotiations. Without a release, there's not going to be a pause in the fighting," said Netanyahu.

Benjamin Netanyahu responded to US President Joe Biden

Netanyahu once again responded to statements from Joe Biden, who believes that such Israeli policies and the Israeli Prime Minister's approach are hurting the Israeli people more than helping them. However, Netanyahu is not entirely certain about this assessment. He doesn't understand what Biden intended to convey with these remarks.

[The Israeli people] also support my position that says that we should resoundingly reject the attempt to ram down our throats a Palestinian state. That is something that they agree on,” Netanyahu said.

He is happy to have the support of the Israeli population who believe that Netanyahu shares the same goals as they do.

The Israeli Prime Minister disagrees with Europe's proposal for a two-state solution. He believes that the conflict is not a result of the lack of a Palestinian state but rather the fact that Jews have their own country. Netanyahu sees the main issue in the situation as the Palestinians' unwillingness to accept the existence of the Israeli state.

We will see whether the pressure from world leaders will have any impact on the Israeli Prime Minister and other Israeli leaders. What is happening in Palestine is horrifying. The number of civilian casualties is truly enormous, and there is concern that such practices will continue in the future. This kind of chaos must be stopped.

Joe Biden and other world leaders should take the lead in the future and do everything possible to bring peace to the Middle East.
