Ukrainians are concerned about the future of their country, especially lately, as aid from the US has yet to arrive. Ukrainians urgently need assistance in the form of weapons and ammunition, and when such help does not come, it certainly undermines their sense of security, leading to increasing fear. This is one of the reasons why Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has warned that Russia could attack Kyiv again.

In an interview with BILD, the former boxing champion stressed that Vladimir Putin has been considering an attack on Kyiv for a long time, specifically since the beginning of the war. One reason is that Kyiv is the capital of Ukraine, so by potentially capturing this city, Ukrainians would certainly suffer a morale blow, while Russians could make further advances.

"Kyiv has been and remains a target for Putin, because the capital is the heart of the country," he said, as reported by Global Espresso!

However, Klitschko pointed out that Vladimir Putin and the leaders of this country would make a huge mistake if they decided to attack Kyiv. Kyiv Major pointed out that the Ukrainians are much better prepared than was the case two years ago. A potential attack on Kyiv would have enormous consequences for everyone, as there would certainly be many casualties in this conflict.

"But we are much better prepared for this than we were two years ago. If Putin makes such a decision, it will be a bloody decision," Klitschko continued.

Vitali Klitschko believes that better air defense is a priority for this city. It's one of the ways the city can defend itself, and Klitschko wants to see more means of air defense, aware of how much it would mean to them. The Russians, as is known, are well-equipped and are surely waiting for their moment. The question is only when they will decide to make such a move, ready to conquer Kyiv.

"We urgently need more means of air defense, more anti-aircraft missiles!"- he said.

Vitali Klitschko has no intention of negotiating with the Russians, as it was evident from the start of the war that the Russians were not ready for compromise and negotiation.

Their goals and intentions have remained identical since the first day of the war. Klitschko believes that negotiations are no longer an option and that the primary focus should be on helping Ukraine in these times.

He emphasized that they do not want to give the Russians an inch of territory more, and in that case, there is no compromise.

Klitschko is known as a person with clear views and has no intention of changing his stance in the future. From the beginning of the war, he understood the intentions of the Russians, and his priority is for Ukrainians to be prepared, ready to retaliate against any Russian attack.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy gives his predictions

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, day by day, also emphasizes the threat coming from Russia. During one of his interviews with CBS News, the Ukrainian President reiterated once again that Ukrainians need assistance, aware that Russians could launch a new major offensive by the end of May or June.

Zelenskyy emphasizes that it is essential not only to be prepared and stabilize the situation but also to receive adequate assistance. The leader of Ukraine confirmed that his army has suffered losses on many fronts simply because their weapons were not powerful enough to confront such an opponent.

Oleksiy Hetman's prediction

Oleksiy Hetman, retired National Guard Major, is one of those who is also convinced that the Russians will launch a new offensive, from several directions. He is aware that the Russians will have no problem moving their troops and going on the offensive. He is most afraid of the fact that the Russians can move all their troops in a short period of time.

According to his predictions, and what he heard, it could happen in April. Hetman believes that the Russians will intensify the mobilization, ready to go to the very end in order to achieve their goal. He expects that the recruit's soldiers will be quickly trained and ready to fight at the front.

From this perspective, it's difficult to draw a definite conclusion regarding the intentions of the Russian president and the leadership of this country. Russians certainly won't wait nonchalantly, and it seems to be a matter of time before a new offensive occurs. Putin is someone who doesn't intend to give up. His goal is to demonstrate power and strength to the Ukrainians.

The Ukrainians are cautious and aware of the danger that may come from the Russians, so Zelenskyy certainly has a strategy on how to defend themselves.
