The Israeli intelligence agency Shin Bet, as well as the Israeli army, issued a joint statement confirming that in the attack in the city of Gaza, three sons of the Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh were killed.

According to media reports, his three sons; Mohammad, Amir, and Hazem, were killed in a car after being bombed by the IDF. Additionally, Haniyeh's four grandchildren were also killed in this attack. In a statement, the IDF confirmed the deaths of the three children of Haniyeh, emphasizing that all three were Hamas operatives. Furthermore, the IDF highlighted that they were among the main leaders of Hamas.

Ismail Haniyeh emphasized in his statement that he still believes in a better future and hopes for the freedom of the Palestinian people. The leader of Hamas is also a target of Israelis, who hope to achieve their goals.

'Through the blood of the martyrs and the pain of the injured, we create hope, we create the future, we create independence and freedom for our people and our nation,'- Haniyeh said.

Ismail Haniyeh reacts: I am grateful to God

The leader of Hamas considers the death of his sons an honor, and he is grateful to God for it. He regards his sons as brave fighters for the freedom of their people who have sacrificed their lives for their land and the freedom of the people.

'I am grateful to God for the honor he has given me in the deaths of three of my children and a few of my grandchildren.'- he continued.

He emphasized that he is proud of his children who have remained to defend the Palestinian people and fight against the enemy who seeks to destroy them. Furthermore, he expressed respect for anyone who has shed blood for Palestine.

'My sons were awarded this honor. They remained with our Palestinian people in Gaza, did not leave and did not run. The blood of my sons is not dearer than the blood of our people.'- he concluded.
