The Russian army continues to make advances in the Kharkiv region, aiming to completely destroy the enemy. Ukrainians have lost another six villages, in addition to the four previous ones. Russians are also advancing on other fronts, ready to disrupt the plans of Ukrainian forces. The Ukrainian unit Hostri Kortuzy confirmed their withdrawal at 2 p.m.

"At 14:00 (local time in Kyiv), battles began for the strategically important village of Hlyboke. Russians are dying in masses, but they still press on and manage to succeed in some areas. The night will be difficult," the report states.

Although a multitude of Russian soldiers have been killed in the Ukrainian response, Russians have no intention of stopping and are solely focused on progress, nothing else. Russians seem maximally focused on achieving victory, considering their lack of significant success in their war objectives over the past two years. Moments when the Ukrainian army lacks sufficient weaponry are a huge advantage for the Russians, who aim to capitalize on the momentum.

"Today, during heavy fighting, our defenders were forced to withdraw from several more positions, and another village is now completely under Russian control. Fighting for the village of Hliboke has been ongoing since 8 p.m.," -Ukrainian fighters say.

Military analysts worldwide offer their predictions and reveal Russia's war objectives. Americans believe that Russians aim to divert Ukrainian forces from other positions, advance, and create a buffer zone to protect Belgorod.

What is interesting is that Russians are achieving victory in many areas, taking advantage of this situation. What may give hope to Ukrainians is the fact that Russians evidently do not intend to occupy Kharkiv, at least according to military analysts' analyses.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacts

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian president, has spoken out regarding Russian attacks in northern Ukraine. Ukrainians are attempting to defend themselves despite strong Russian offensives. The Ukrainian leader emphasized via social media that the situation is extremely difficult and that the goal is to halt the Russians at this moment.

The Ukrainian president is proud of the Ukrainian fighters who, despite strong Russian attacks, have no intention of giving up and bravely fight for their country. Such courage of his soldiers is what Zelensky is particularly proud of. The Ukrainian president believes that his army can show its teeth and stand up to such an opponent.

"Today, the primary focus is on the front lines, in areas where the risks of Russian offensive actions are the highest.

Our defensive operations continue in the Kharkiv region, in the border villages of Strilecha, Krasne, Morokhovets, Oliinykove, Lukyantsi, Hatyshche, and Pletenivka, where our forces are countering Russian attacks for the second day and defending Ukrainian territory"- he said.

The Ukrainian president is carefully monitoring the situation together with his advisors, ready to take concrete steps to stop the Russians. The intention of the Russian army is to launch attacks on various regions and create confusion among Ukrainians. Zelensky has confirmed that the situation is particularly tense in the Donetsk region, where fierce battles are raging from hour to hour. He has confirmed that they are also monitoring the situation on other fronts.

"The situation remains particularly tense in the Donetsk region, including the Pokrovsk direction, Semenivka, and Netailove villages, where there are over thirty combats per day. The situation remains very difficult.

Of course, we pay attention to all other areas, such as the Kupyansk, Lyman, Siversk, Kramatorsk, and Vremivka directions."- he continued.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy is thrilled by the bravery of his soldiers and grateful for their fighting spirit and determination. The priority will be to prevent the Russians from achieving their goals. The Ukrainian leader is aware that they are in a difficult situation, but the optimism he has had since the beginning of the war will not fade even in moments when things are not going well. Zelensky is confident that Ukraine can resist.

"I am grateful to each brigade that is bravely defending positions, repelling attacks, and destroying occupiers. Thwarting Russia’s offensive plans is the number one task right now."- he concuded

Ukrainians have launched cross-border attacks into Russia, using drones and artillery to target the Belgorod and Kursk regions. These attacks have resulted in casualties among civilians and soldiers, with varying numbers reported depending on the source. Despite the conflict's toll, Ukrainians remain resolute in their fight for sovereignty and peace.

The question is where this conflict will lead in the coming days, as a strong response from the Ukrainians is expected. The assistance they await will be crucial for the country's future and likely the most significant step towards the success of the Ukrainian army. The timing of the aid from the USA is a pressing question, as it will provide Ukrainians with the strength to continue the fight at least until the end of the year.
