Tensions between Russia and NATO have not ceased since the moment Russians decided to invade Ukraine. Many have made predictions regarding the Russo-Ukrainian war, believing that this conflict could escalate due to NATO's involvement. Although threats from Russian leaders existed, fortunately, the conflict did not escalate.

However, Russian leader Vladimir Putin continues to warn NATO members, primarily America and Poland, regarding the aerial support they could provide to Ukraine in the coming period.

Polish Foreign Minister Rodoslaw Sikiroski confirmed in an interview with British media that Americans warned Russia regarding nuclear weapons and are ready to react.

One of the more controversial figures since the beginning of this conflict is Dmitry Medvedev, the ex-Russian president, who shared his stance on America's threats and those of other NATO members via social media. Medvedev primarily focused on Poland and Blinken's statements, with which he was not pleased.

"The Polish counterpart of a weird, outlandish creature called [Secretary of State Antony] Blinken, with a much more sonorous surname Sikorski, apparently, has decided to scare his own masters. He has stated: 'The Americans have told the Russians that if you explode a nuke, even if it doesn't kill anybody, we will hit all your targets [positions] in Ukraine with conventional weapons, we'll destroy all of them."- Medvedev said.

Medvedev believes that such statements from the Polish Foreign Minister are unfounded, considering that Americans have not made such statements. Medvedev emphasizes that Americans are also cautious, aware of the consequences that could arise if Americans hit their targets. However, some are firmly convinced that Americans will react if Russians make moves that could threaten the security of other countries, especially NATO members.

"First, the Yankees so far haven't said anything exactly like that because they are more cautious than the Polacks. Second, Americans hitting our targets means starting a world war, and a foreign minister, even of a country like Poland, should understand that."- he continued.

Medvedev points out that Poles could also feel the consequences. He believes that a concrete reaction could lead to enormous repercussions, labeling Poles as resentful.

"And third, considering that yet another Polack, [President Andrzej] Duda, has recently announced the wish to deploy TNW [thermonuclear weapons] in Poland, Warsaw won't be left out, and will surely get its share of radioactive ash. Is it what you really want? The Polish are resentful; have been like that for over 400 years."-Medvedev concluded.

Joe Biden: We are standing strong with Ukraine

From the beginning of the war, American President Joe Biden has shown readiness to help Ukrainians in their toughest moments. The assistance recently approved in Congress will soon arrive, amounting to $60 billion. Biden emphasized in one of his speeches that he will continue to support Ukraine, placing special emphasis on Vladimir Putin, whom he considers a tyrant. Biden confirmed that he will never give up on supporting Ukraine.

"We are standing strong with Ukraine and we will stand with them. We're standing against a man whom I've known well for many years, a brutal tyrant. We may not, we will not walk away," Biden said, as reported by PRAVDA.

Joe Biden has no intention of sending American troops

The American president has admitted that he has no intention of sending American troops, as previously discussed. Biden wants it to remain that way in the future. The arrival of American soldiers in Ukraine could provoke enormous consequences for everyone, which would not benefit this country.

The American president stated in his explanation that Putin expected NATO to fracture. However, two years later, Biden believes that NATO is stronger than ever.

The American president is known for criticizing Vladimir Putin for months and months, disappointed in his political moves that have led to chaos in Europe. Vladimir Putin, on the other hand, has no specific statements regarding individual world leaders, primarily Biden. The Russian leader calmly does his job, ignoring everything, and is ready to achieve his war goal.

Of course, Vladimir Putin is a wise leader who knows well what consequences some of his actions can provoke. NATO is ready to react immediately if the president of this country takes more radical steps, although even what has happened so far is radical enough. Looking at important figures in Russian politics, Medvedev stands out as one of those who often make controversial statements that go beyond all bounds. Dmitry is disappointed in NATO's policies, considering them to be hypocritical.

It will be interesting to follow the moves of world leaders in the coming period, hoping that this war will end and that peace will reign again. Such an outcome is not realistically expected in the near future, but if there is openness and willingness from leaders on all sides to find a solution, everything can become possible.
