Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has consistently emphasized the safety of the Ukrainian people as his top priority since the beginning of the war. He has been lobbying world leaders daily for assistance in the form of armaments to counter the force posed by Russia. Zelenskyy stated in a media interview that the Ukrainian government is doing everything possible to plan actions to ensure the safety of the Ukrainian people.

He particularly highlighted efforts around Dnipro, acknowledging continuing reconstruction following damage to buildings. Zelenskyy refuses to remain silent or passively observe events, instead intending to take immediate steps to address the damage.

"Dnipro. Work is still underway at the site of the Russian missile strike on the apartment building. The rubble is being cleared."- Zelenskyy said, as quoted by PRAVDA.

The Ukrainian president confirmed one person dead and expressed condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. Additionally, 12 people were injured. His intentions are to uncover what happened and identify those responsible for such actions. Russians continue to attack Ukrainians daily, causing increasing panic in the country. Russian forces show no signs of letting up on both soldiers and civilians, who find themselves in bad situations. Zelenskyy is alarmed by these events and seeks to retaliate against Russia, hoping that such attacks will diminish over time.

"So far, one person has been reported dead – my condolences to the[ir] family and friends. Twelve people were injured. Everyone is being provided with the necessary assistance. The fate of several people remains unknown. All efforts are being made to clarify all the circumstances, all the details."- he continued.

The Ukrainian president stresses that Russia will be responsible for terror against Ukraine. They prepare new decisions to strengthen forces and protect people. Zelenskyy is tired of seeing the same scenario day after day.

"And of course, Russia will be held accountable for this terror against Ukraine. We are preparing new decisions to strengthen ourselves and protect our people."

Volodymyr Zelenskyy has acknowledged that Ukraine needs resources and measures to confront increasing Russian attacks. Russian forces have used approximately 800 guided aerial bombs just this week. Zelenskyy is disturbed by civilian deaths in his country and urges the world and Europe to strengthen Ukraine's air defense system. He has repeatedly called for action from leaders of major countries, but it seems that some are unwilling or unprepared to assist Ukraine in this regard. According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine's air defense system is its weakest link. Without a strong system, optimism is the last thing on his mind.

"Ukraine needs the necessary forces and means to destroy the carriers of these bombs, in particular, Russian combat aircraft where they are," Zelenskyy said.

"Long-range strikes and modern air defense are the basis for stopping the daily Russian terror," he said.

"Thanks to all partners who understand this."

The Ukrainian leader has once again emphasized that Western countries must expedite the delivery of weapons to Ukraine. Delaying these shipments could rapidly change the course of the war, leading to scenarios no one wants at this time. Volodymyr Zelenskyy stresses that delays also mean human losses.

Russian attacks in the town of Vilniansk resulted in the deaths of seven people, following Ukrainian drones killing five on its border village. Such behavior from both sides is unacceptable; tit-for-tat strikes should not be tactics used by major countries. Nevertheless, wars are such that there are no principles, and no one wants to rationally assess the situation.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy on social media

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed via social media that seven people, including two children, were killed in a Russian missile strike. Shortly after, a response came from Russia, where authorities stated that five people, including two children, were killed after a Ukrainian drone attack. Drones have become a primary means of warfare, with huge potential consequences. There is great concern that both sides will continue to use these tactics, leading to even more civilian casualties.

Vladimir Putin has not yet commented on the latest events in Ukraine and Russia. The Russian leader is not someone who frequently speaks out on such matters, but it is expected that he is preparing responses and actions in the coming period.

Vladimir Putin's politics is still based on the search for partners, aware that he will not have an easy task in the continuation of the war. Zelenskyy, on the other hand, has a lot of partners who are stressing him out, and without them, it would be difficult for Ukraine to show its teeth all this time. Putin hopes to acquire as many partners as possible in the coming period, and achieve a final victory.
