China says its companies facing off many difficulties due to trade disputes

On Sunday, the 29th of September 2019, at a press conference in Beijing, Chinese Commerce Minister, Zhong Shan told that a stack of Chinese companies had been facing off many difficulties due to a withering trade conflict with the United States, adding that the Beijing’s trade had been confronting a slew of caustic challenges both home and abroad.

In point of fact, ahead of a high-level trade talk between Washington and Beijing scheduled to be held in Washington on October 10th-11th, latest downbeat comments of Chinese Commerce Minister seemed to have poured cold water over a near-term resolution of a fifteen-month-long trade abrasion which had toiled trillions of dollars and disrupted supply chains all over the globe, suggested analysts.

Meanwhile, voicing a pessimistic tone over a new round of high-level trade talk as early as next month as beforementioned, China’s Commerce Minister, Zhong had been quoted saying on Sunday (September 29th) that the Chinese team of delegates set to meet USTR Robert Lighthizer next month, which would be led by Vice Premiere Liu He alongside Chinese President Xi Jinping’s economic adviser, would seek to expand import opportunities further to stabilize a tempestuous trade relationship between China and US, however, the Commerce Minister had declined to reveal further details on how or when a US trade deal could be reached.
