Trump calls off pandemic relief talks until Nov. 3 Presidential election

Amid conflicting narratives on whether the Republicans and Democrats would be able to reach a second-round of trillion-dollar pandemic relief deal, the US President Donald Trump had made an unprecedented move to call off the negotiation talks with the Democratic lawmakers regarding an additional pandemic relief aid, pointing towards a steeper economic slowdown brewing over the US economy.

Aside from that, following the latest move from the US President Donald Trump, who had been discharged from a military medical facility a day earlier after having been treated for the pandemic infection over the weekend, the US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a tough critic to Trump, was quoted saying that the US President had started to show off his true colours.

In tandem, Trump’s latest decision to halt negotiations with the Democratic lawmakers over a second round of pandemic relief bill came forth roughly a week after the US Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell had been quoted saying that the US economy would likely to meet with further menacing impacts unless an economic stimulus bill.

Aside from that, earlier in the day, Trump tweeted that the US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi had not been negotiating in good faith, while the President had also asked Senate Majority Mitch McConnel to entirely focus on confirming his Supreme Court Nominee, Amy Coney Barret, a move that points towards Trump’ strident intent to seek court aid in case if he loses the Nov.
