A Ferrari F1 car which was once used to be driven by the Formula One legend Michael Schumacher, has been currently up for the grabs. DuPont Registry has been hosting the auction and according to Dupont Registry, the Schumacher-driven F1 Ferrari’s starting price will begin at an eye-watering $4.9 million.

As of last week, 1963 Ferrari 250 GTO ranks as the most expensive sports car in 2022 with a price tag of $70 million, which followed Lamborghini Rolls-Royce Boat Tail ($28 million) and Bugatti La Voiture Noire ($18.3 million) as well as Pagani Zonda ($17.6 million).

Nonetheless, the latest Michael Schumacher F1 Ferrari car which is being auctioned, has not been among the cars that Schumacher had driven to win his five championships, though the car is still an impressive part of his and Ferrari’s racing legacy.

Schumacher used this Ferrari F300 during 1998 F1 season, during which the German driver alongside Italian team had lost both manufacturer’s and driver’s title to McLaren and Mika Hakkinen respectively. However, the Schumacher-driven 1998 Ferrari F1, had put up a tough fight.

On top of that, the car was manufactured in the era of V-10 in Formula One, when the Formula One cars used to create one of the best noises in the motorsports’ history.
