Sebastian Vettel, the 34-year-old four-times F1 driver’s championship title winner, has reportedly been robbed in Barcelona just after completing the latest Spanish Grand Prix. A press agency has reported late on Monday that a few thieves had robbed a bag which belonged to the four-times world champion.

Nevertheless, Vettel had used AirPods GPS tracking to locate his bag. According to reports from Spanish media, Vettel chased down the assailants using a scooter, However, he had found only his headphones in the dumped bag.

Though, Aston Martin did not make any official statement about the incident. Aside from that, Aston Martin F1 team did not confirm any detail of the issue.

Meanwhile, without elaborating the details, Aston Martin said in a statement, “A bag belonging to Sebastian Vettel was stolen in Barcelona this morning; he tried to find it by using his iPhone to track his earphones which were in his bag; but when he located his earphones he found them abandoned and was therefore unable to locate his stolen bag”.

Although, it might seem unusual, yet the incidence that occurred to Vettel, the Aston Martin F1 driver who won four driver’s championship titles between 2010 and 2013, has been the third in less than ten months to an F1 driver.

Vettel, the 34-year-old father of two, did not make any comment over the issue. Apart from that Vettel, Norris’ watch was stolen during a riot at Euro 2020 final last summer. Besides, Ferrari’s Leclerc had lost a $320,000 worth of Richard Mille during posing for a photograph with fans last month.
