F1 again in Las Vegas! Stefano Domenicali, CEO of Formula 1, talked about the new calendar for the 2023 F1 World Championship season. Domenicali explained: "We are thrilled to announce the 2023 calendar with 24 races worldwide.
Formula 1 has received unprecedented requests to host races and it is important to find the right balance for the whole sport. We are very pleased with the momentum that the F1 is experiencing, it's great news for our fans that we will be able to bring a mix of exciting new locations like Las Vegas."
Leclerc's words about Monza GP
Leclerc commented on the Monza GP race in Italy, won by Max Verstappen.
He told: "We were behind Verstappen for what happened previously, I would have liked to win in front of these fantastic fans. Honestly in the first pit stop we didn't know what Red Bull would do and we decided to stop. The pace was good now.
we have to analyze everything. Thanks to everyone for the support, racing in Monza is always incredible. Too bad for second position but we gave it all, thanks again. It was frustrating to see the safety car in the final laps: I was second, I wanted to try to attack Verstappen .
We hoped to be able to play it in the end it's a shame but I know I gave everything." Second position for Charles Leclerc, who at Monza fails to win in front of the Ferrari fans. The last moments of the Italian GP were conditioned by the entry of the safety car on lap 48 due to the incident of Daniel Ricciardo, with the race ending with all the cars lined up.
Max Verstappen wins in Monza and further extends the gap on Charles Leclerc, mortgaging the world title: the Monegasque is now at -116. Ferrari also maintains second place in the Constructors. The World Championship returns on Sunday 2 October with the Singapore GP.
