As Bahrain pre-season testing is still more than a 1-1/2-months away, the seven-times world champion Lewis Hamilton has been mostly avoiding the social media, however, following the shocking death of rally legend ken Block, Hamilton turned to Instagram account to pay tribute to the motorsport-star. The 55-year-old had passed away last week in Wasatach, Utah, as local police had confirmed that he had been riding a snowmobile on a steep slope, however, the slope had toppled and crushed on to him. He had been announced death at the scene of the accident.
Block had made a name for himself in rally racing in the US, however, later he switched to rallycross. Aside from that, he also became a YouTube star while promoting gymkhana, which is co-owned by the Hoonigan Racing Division.

Meanwhile, paying tribute to the rally star, Hamilton wrote in an Instagram post, "I've been mostly off social media to focus on my health and well-being.
Today, I received news of the loss of a dear friend. I am devastated to hear of Ken Block's passing. He was such an amazing person, always lived life to the fullest. I remember our first time working together and how positive he was.
So much talent behind the wheel. Years ago, we had an amazing time heli-skiing and snowboarding in Canada. We held so much respect for one another. He will truly be missed and my thoughts and prayers go to his beautiful family.
Gone too soon. Rest in peace, Ken”. Ken Block had three kids with celeb Lucy Block.
