Haas Unveils Fresh New Look for 2023 Formula 1 Season

The Haas team has revealed their new car for the 2023 Formula 1 season, the VF-23, in a sleek and updated red, black, and white livery. The team, which finished eighth out of ten teams in the 2022 season, has placed its focus on the on-track performance of the VF-23 and the preparation for the upcoming season.

Team boss Guenther Steiner stated, “It’s great that we’re first out of the gate to showcase our livery but our attention is firmly on getting the VF-23 on-track and preparing for the season ahead. We really have something to build on following last year’s performances”.

A New Era Begins with MoneyGram Sponsorship

The arrival of MoneyGram, a company with a presence in 200 countries, marks the start of a new era for the Haas team.

The team’s main sponsor will be prominently displayed on the front wing and above the engine of the VF-23. MoneyGram’s CEO, Alex Holmes, expressed his excitement for the team, saying, “I think things have evolved in a very positive way.

The energy around the team is incredibly vibrant, they are very, very excited and fired up. I think they feel they are at a place now where they are going to have a very level playing field to compete from”. This season, the Haas team will be driven by Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hülkenberg, with Ferrari continuing as the engine supplier.

The team aims to deliver consistent points-paying finishes and with the experienced driver pairing of Magnussen and Hülkenberg, the Haas team is poised for a strong 2023 season. Haas owner Gene Haas stated, “We head into a new season buoyed by some strong team performances last year and a return to points paying finishes.

The aim for the 2023 season is naturally to do that more consistently and with Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg I certainly believe we’ve got an experienced driver pairing more than capable of delivering those points on a Sunday”.
