Lewis Hamilton's reaction to Michael Masi's return to the F1 paddock

We will have another chance to watch Michael Masi on the F1 scene. The man who is known for his controversial decision in Abu Dhabi two years ago, is now in the role of Independent Chair of the Supercars Commission. This will also mean that Masi will be present at the F1 paddock during the Australian GP.

There was, of course, an immediate interest among the reporters in Lewis Hamilton's reaction, and whether the Briton would communicate with Masi. "I don't. I am just focused on my future. I am focused on trying to get back to winning.

There is nothing to say."- Hamilton said, as quoted by metro.co.uk

Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes

Lewis Hamilton obviously does not want to bother with things that are not important to him. His focus right now is to achieve the best possible result.

Hamilton has been under enormous pressure for a long time, and speculations about his departure from the Mercedes team only add to his unrest. Lewis has confirmed many times that his goal is to stay in the team as long as possible and give his best.

"It is my family, and I see myself being with Mercedes until my last days. If you look at the legends like Sir Stirling Moss, who was with Mercedes until the end of days, that has been the dream for me, to one day have that.

I have got some amazing allies at the team, some great relationships here, and as long as I can continue to help the team, drive the team forward and really contribute then that is why I want to stay. If there is ever a point where I feel like I am not able to do that, it is time for a youngster to come in and take my seat. But I still feel pretty young and in pretty decent shape." Lewis Hamilton now faces real challenges.
