Mercedes F1 star Lewis Hamilton has called out an incident of violence on his social media after a young American boy was shot in the head. The affected boy had gone to see his brothers but confused the address when he found himself outside the door of an 85-year-old man.

When the latter opened the door, he shot the sixteen-year-old in the head with a pistol shot. The terrible event took place in Kansas City and President Biden immediately made sure of the condition of the boy hit by two shots: one in the arm and another in the head.

The father said the boy seems to be making progress. Furthermore, the local police chief highlighted how there is a strong racial component in the story. Both the pilot and the other famous characters indicate how this near tragedy should lead local and national authorities to reflect on the use of weapons.

The blow inflicted on the boy was not fatal but it led famous people, including Lewis Hamilton, to shed light on a story that cannot be easily forgotten. The words of the Formula 1 champion were brief but very significant.

Via Instagram Stories, the Mercedes driver reposted a post by Viola Davis and added below the photo of the boy, shared by the actress, of how he was the victim of a simple mistake but, thank God, this didn't lead to death of the sixteen year old.

Hamilton then closes his complaint asking for justice for what happened.
