Eddie Jordan: Michael Schumacher's recovery would be miracle, but also a dream

Almost 9 years have passed since Michael Schumacher's accident. That much has passed since this German was in a coma. A number of successes were achieved by Schumacher over the course of his career, making him one of the greatest drivers of all time.

Eddie Jordan, the former owner of the F1 team, is of the opinion that Schumacher still has a chance of recovering despite everything. Jordan is aware that such a thing would be a real miracle if it were to happen, but he still believes that it will happen.

“Do you know that would be an absolute miracle but it would also be a dream. Nonetheless you have to be realistic and there are people in science and people in medicine who are making the most unbelievable [progress]."- he said, as quoted by crash.net

Eddie Jordan: Medicine is improving

There is no doubt that medicine is advancing at a rapid pace every year.

That is exactly what makes Jordan optimistic about the future. While it is a bit difficult to be optimistic when we know that Schumacher has been in a difficult condition for 10 years, there are some times where we have to believe in miracles and be optimistic.

"Medicine is improving. I cannot tell you what the answer to Michael Schumacher is but it’s a very, very long time, getting on nearly 10 years now, that he’s been in the position that he’s in at the moment." While Jordan is not a medical professional, he still believes that things could turn out well in the end.

"So from a person whose knowledge of medicine is a normal person's knowledge it's difficult to see it. I would hope beyond hope that it could happen and think while there’s hope and belief in the world then anything is possible”.

It is difficult to predict what will happen in the future, but the fact that people still mention Schumacher speaks of how big and important he was to everyone.
