Arnold Schwarzenegger, the former governor of California and Hollywood actor, has expressed concern about the age factor in the upcoming 2024 presidential election in the United States. In an interview with Politico, Schwarzenegger stated that the country needs a "new kind of leader" who can bring fresh energy and vision to the White House.

Schwarzenegger specifically mentioned the current president, Joe Biden, and former president, Donald Trump, as examples of candidates who are too old to effectively lead the country. Biden is currently 80 years old, while Trump will be 78 by the time of the election.

Schwarzenegger believes that these candidates are not up to the challenges facing the nation and that their age could hinder their ability to serve effectively.

Call for New Blood

Schwarzenegger has repeatedly called for "new blood" in American politics, advocating for younger and more dynamic leaders to emerge.

He believes that these new leaders will be better equipped to address the complex issues facing the country, such as climate change, economic inequality, and political polarization. Schwarzenegger also criticized the media's excessive focus on Biden and Trump, arguing that it is preventing other potential candidates from gaining exposure and consideration.

He believes that the media should play a more neutral role in the election process and allow all candidates to have a fair chance to compete.

Schwarzenegger's Own Presidential Aspirations

In the past, Schwarzenegger has expressed interest in running for president himself.

However, he is ineligible to do so because he was not born in the United States. Despite this, he remains engaged in politics and continues to advocate for his vision of a better future for the country. Schwarzenegger's message is clear: the United States needs a new generation of leaders who can bring fresh ideas and energy to the White House.

He believes that the country's current political system is dominated by older politicians who are out of touch with the needs of the people. Schwarzenegger's call for change may resonate with many Americans who are looking for a new direction for the country.
