According to many insiders from the UK and USA, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would like to spend time at Buckingham Palace in London, but no invitation has yet arrived from King Charles III and his royal family. However, the same insiders report that King Charles III would like to spend the holidays surrounded by his grandchildren, including those of his second son and daughter-in-law.

It is thought that in the next few days, the sovereign of the United Kingdom will invite his son, his daughter-in-law and his grandchildren to spend Christmas in London, after the stormy events of the last few months (or years!), but for now there is nothing official.

According to the Times, Harry and Meghan called King Charles a few days ago to wish him well for his 75th birthday and, according to the well-known newspaper, this would have marked a turning point in the not exactly idyllic relations between Harry Meghan and King Charles.

The Times said the couple and their grandchildren would also be willing to spend the 2024 summer holidays in Balmoral, Scotland.

Why William doesn't want Harry at Christmas

A source from the Mail on Sunday told: "I don't think Harry and Meghan would turn down an opportunity to be with Her Majesty.

For now there have been no invitations for holidays, but in the future who knows... The improvement in the relationship between Harry and Charles comes after a source revealed to the Mail on Sunday that the King was keen to see his grandchildren more often." However, the British media also say that the Princes of Wales William and Kate would not want Harry and Meghan at Buckingham Palace with them at Christmas.

Williams has not had relations with his brother for a long time and, again according to the UK media, it would seem that he would not take kindly to the idea of celebrating Christmas with Harry and his wife. A member of the royal family told the Mail that they believed the king would be more inclined to invite Harry and Meghan to visit him in Scotland in the New Year, when the Princes of Wales would be at Anmer Hall, their country home in Norfolk .
