There is no person in the world who has not had contact with technology and does not recognize the famous Apple logo when they see it. With its simple yet iconic design, it has etched itself into the collective consciousness as a symbol of innovation, elegance and progress.

But why exactly this design? The story begins back in 1977, when Steve Jobs himself asked an agency to create a logo for Apple computers. The idea was clear - simplicity and recognition. A hand-drawn portrait of Isaac Newton under an apple tree was originally considered, but it was quickly realized that this was too complex for what they wanted to achieve.

At that crucial moment, designer Rob Janoff enters the scene, to whom Jobs gave one single instruction: "Keep it simple, but not too sweet." Janoff approached the task with a vision, focusing on the essence of the apple rather than the letters or details.

It was a step forward compared to competitors like HP or IBM, whose logos were mostly based on letter characters. He started with a basic silhouette of an apple, but quickly realized that many people equated that silhouette with a cherry because of the similarity in shape.

To avoid this confusion, Janoff added a bite, clearly marking it as an apple, while maintaining a minimalist approach. Additionally, the six colorful stripes in the logo symbolized the product's ability to display color images, a revolutionary feature at the time.

There is also an intriguing myth circulating about biting into an apple as an allusion to "byte" in a technological context, but Janoff himself denied this claim in an interview. However, the fact remains that that bite has become an indispensable part of the Apple identity, symbolizing perfection in incompleteness, striving for new ideas and openness to change.

The Apple logo is not just a symbol of a technology company; it became a symbol in itself. It represents vision, creativity, and the power of innovation. Its simplicity carries a deeper meaning, reflecting the essence of what Apple stands for as a brand - a simple, intuitive and elegant user experience.

Over the years, this logo has become one of the most recognizable and influential symbols in the world of technology and design.
