eFootball™ 2022 version 1.0.0 update is available now. eFootball is an association football simulation video game developed and published by Konami. It is a free-to-play game after being completely rebranded from the original Pro Evolution Soccer (known as Winning Eleven in Japan) series to the eFootball series.
The game's first season, entitled eFootball 2022, was released on 30 September 2021. At launch, eFootball was panned by critics for its graphics, controls, and lack of content. On 8 October 2021, Konami announced that it would release a new update with fixes for the game's issues on 28 October 2021.
The update was delayed and the release postponed to November 2021. Konami then launched the update 0.9.1 in 5 November, and announced that the 1.0 update release was delayed until Spring 2022. Version 1.0.0 of efootball was finally announced on 6 April 2022, with release date of 14 April 2022.

After the bumpy start of the Konami soccer game 2021, version 1.0.0 of "eFootball 2022" is now available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows and Steam.
According to Konami, eFootball 2022 was "created to recreate the battle for the ball and unique team tactics that excite fans around the world in real-life soccer. New controls have been added to the game to give players more versatility for any situation on the pitch to be able to".

" wrote eFootball on Twitter. In addition, a new element has been added with "Season": Each season reflects red-hot topics from the real football world and offers a large variety of suitable events based on them.
Season 1's theme will be 'New Gameplay Approach, Team Building and Licensing', offering players a deeper dive into the new gameplay methods in eFootball 2022. The game mode originally presented as "Creative Team" is now integrated into the game as "Dream Team".
In this mode, players can create their own squad and compete against other "dream teams" from around the world using a variety of soccer strategies.
