Pokémon GO brings with it news for the month of April! A new edition of the Sustainability Week, an event that is part of the environmental awareness campaign promoted by NIANTIC, will start at 10:00 on April 20, 2022 and will last until April 25.
For the occasion, the Alola Oranguru Pokemon will make its debut. This week, there will also be the first-time in-game release of Cherubi shiny. On the occasion of the Community Day on Saturday 23 April, for each coach who will cover at least 5 km, NIANTIC will plant a tree up to a maximum of 100,000 trees.
To encourage Trainers to grind as many kilometers as possible, a timed search will be active during Community Day, where each Coach will have to travel at least 1 km to advance to the next phase and meet Cherubi.
Event bonuses and research
During this week there will be the Collection Challenge where Trainers will have to capture Gloom and Weepinbell to earn points for the Champion Seeker Award, as well as a Wild Lure Module and 15 Mega Balls.
During the event, free event packs will be available in the shop that will contain a wild bait module. This will attract some Pokémon in particular, such as Weepinbell, Gloom, Chikorita, Grotle, Cherubi, and Sewaddle, as well as the color forms of Diglett from Alola, Bellossom, and Nincada.
As for field research activities, these will allow you to meet the following Pokémon: Turtwig, Cherubi, Snivy, Garbage, Chespin and Phantump. Additionally, completing Field Research tasks will earn you Mega Energy to evolve MegaVenusaur and MegaAbomasnow.
Detail of the April Community Day NIANTIC has announced Pokemon Go Community Day for the month of April. After the March Community Day dedicated to Sandshrew, the next event featuring the pokemon in April will be dedicated to Stufful!
Community Day in April will be held on Saturday 23 April, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time. The event will last only three hours, instead of six. NIANTIC explained on the Pokemon Go website: "We want to take a moment to communicate some changes to the format of the upcoming Community Day.
In 2020 we have doubled the duration of the Community Day events, from three to six hours. However, since then, We have found that only 5% of Trainers tend to participate in the event for more than three hours. One of the most important positive feedback we received after January's Classic Community Day (which lasted three hours) revealed that players and community leaders noticed more people attending the event.
This is why Stufful Community Day will be back to being three hours. Our hope is that this will allow more Trainers to meet in person, creating even more opportunities to interact with each other while they enjoy exploring.
We know Trainers have appreciated all the extra resources received during the longer events. For this we will add new and incredible bonuses to the Community Day dedicated to Stufful that will allow you to collect as many resources in half the time." Stufful will appear much more frequently, with an increased shiny rate, and it will take 400 candies to evolve into Bewear.
Evolve Stufful up to two hours after the event to teach your Bewear Legacy. For the duration of the event, rich bonuses will be available: ranging from double catch candies and the possibility of obtaining double L Stufful candies, up to the increase in the effectiveness of Aroma and Bait Modules for three hours!
Experience points will also be tripled. Finally, as if that were not enough, an extra special exchange can be made up to two hours after the event, and up to two hours after the event, exchanges will require 50% less Stardust.
