Pokemon GO: official MagaLatios and MegaLatias in the MegaRaid!

NIANTIC has officially announced that the first mega legendary pokemon, MegaLatias and MegaLatios, will debut in Pokemon GO, starting from 10:00 local time on Tuesday 3 May 2022 to 20:00 local time on Sunday 8 May 2022. Latias, if caught this week, will learn the legacy Mist Ball attack, Latios will learn the legacy Luster Purge attack instead.

Here are all the bonuses of the event

Timed research will be available focused on catching Pikachu and Flying-type Pokémon. Completing the research will allow you to get 50 Latias Mega Energy, 50 Latios Mega Energy, 3,000 XP and an encounter with Pikachu Flight.

During the event period, the following Pokémon will be encountered in the wild: Pikachu Volo, Jigglypuff, Meowth, Psyduck, Doduo, Magikarp, Wingull, Swablu, Drifloon, Charizard and Mantine. The luckiest Trainers will be able to meet these pokemon in their chromatic version.

In three-star raids will appear: Charizard, Lapras and Togekiss. MegaLatias and MegaLatios will appear in Pokémon GO megaraids. Legendary Pokémon can also be Shiny. The following Pokémon will hatch from 7km Eggs: Togepi, Mantyke, Emolga, and Noibat.

Among them, only Togepi will have the chance to be chromatic.
At the end of the field research activities, it will be possible to meet the following Pokémon: Pikachu Volo, Doduo, Swablu and Emolga. The latter cannot be chromatic.
